Stripes and Ruffles Baby Blanket

The most frequent question I hear around the shop is "what are you knitting this week?" So, I am going to show you a picture each week of what is on my needles. And to go along with that...whatever I am working on will be 20% off that week! So be sure to check out our website each week, or come by the shop to see what is on the needles!

I am making another baby blanket! I made one like this two weeks ago for a shower and loved it so much I am making another one...big needles (2 sizes), double stranded, worsted weight yarn, two colors, and of course a ruffle to finish it off for the girly version! This is a great quick project for gift giving!

You have to come in and see our super sale yarns!!! Every week we add yarns, patterns and books to our 60% OFF table. These yarns include discontinued colors and yarns, as well as the "end of the bag" yarns! We have added to our table all of the Berroco and Lang discontinued yarns and pattern booklets...including Lang Tosca and Angora, Berroco Keltic, Boho and select colors of some favorites! Thursday-Saturday 10am-4pm, and the 1^st & 3^rd Thursdays we will continue to be open until 8pm for Knit Night! The second Knit Night of each month will also include a FREE Yarn Tasting!

The Baskets of Yarn Knit Mornings and Knit Nights have been a great way to get to know some fiber friends and learn about new projects! Knit Mornings & Knit Nights are going to be a little different in 2009! We will still gather in the first and third THURSDAYS of the month from 10:00am-12:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm to help you work on all of your current projects! There is not a charge for the events, just bring a project or two, relax and knit or crochet with us! On the 3rd Thursday of each month we will be offering FREE Yarn Tastings from 6:30pm-7:30pm!

Baskets of Yarn is a retail knit, crochet and fiber arts supply and teaching company!
