Stitch-N-Pitch!
Yes, it is true, join us for a fun night of knitting, watching some baseball, socializing with other knitters and their families, and a grand finale of fireworks!!!
Charlotte Knights -vs- Richmond Braves. The Charlotte Knights are teaming up with Baskets of Yarn and The National Needlearts Association to celebrate the needlearts. The game includes a fireworks display and card sets from the Charlotte Knights. Bring your knitting and join us for a fun filled night of stitching and pitching.
The tickets are $9 for admission and you are welcome to bring the whole family! We will have door prizes and goodies for all of our knitters each inning, and the prizes will get better the longer you stay!
Wear your Knitting Diva t-shirts (available at Baskets of Yarn in Pink, Purple and Black!) or your favorite knitted summer tank!
Join us at Baskets of Yarn for pre-game tailgating and festivities from 4:00pm-6:30pm on Saturday! Baskets of Yarn is providing Fried Chicken and non-alcholic beverages and everyone else can bring your favorite side dish to share! Looking forward to Stitching N' Pitching with everyone on Saturday!

Announcing Sock Saturdays at Baskets of Yarn!
Every 2nd & 4th Saturday from 10am-2pm will be SOCK SATURDAYS!
This will be a fun celebration of socks all year long! Come and sit and knit and work on your latest pair of socks! There will not be formal instruction every time, but there should be plenty of people around to show you what they are doing and give you just the inspiration you need to finsih each pair of socks.
In addition, anyone who comes to work on socks with us will get a special 20% discount on a featured sock yarn each sock Saturday...but you have to come to find out what yarn it will be!
Baskets of Yarn is also a Sox Hot Spot!! Come find out more about this fantastic promotion and ways you can win prize $$$$!!
We will also be teaching a sock class each month for those of you who have not yet tried socks!
April, July, October: Socks on Double Pointed Needles
May, August, November: Two Socks Toe Up on One Circlar Needle
June, September, December: Socks on Two Circular Needles
Each class will meet the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month from 10am-12pm and you can come on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays for extra help! The price for each class will be $50.00 and will include needles, yarn and 2 classes. Register early! These classes will fill up!

The Baskets of Yarn Knit Mornings and Knit Nights have become a great way to spend two days each month! Knit Mornings & Knit Nights are every first and third THURSDAY of the month from 10:00am-12:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm to help you work on all of your current projects! There is not a charge for the events, just bring a project or two, relax and knit or crochet with us! The Knit Events will always include a drawing for fabulous door prizes at and special sales on select yarns and products!
PS - Door Prizes will be given out at 11:00am and 7:00pm, but you must be present to win! (And everyone wins something!!!)

Yarn Tastings at Baskets of Yarn!!!
Join us for this fun event and sample a yummy selection of new yarns, new pairings, and new stitch patterns!
At each tasting we will feature a sampling of 6-10 yarns, several stitch patterns, and of course chocolate and a bubbly beverage! Each participant will receive a variety of yarns and a special gift to all participants as well as 20% off all featured yarns and products at the tasting. Simply register for the most convenient time, bring your own needles in size 7-9 and get ready to taste!
This is an event you do not want to miss!
Reservations are $15 and we will be limited to 12 people for each tasting event! Make your reservation today for a seat at this fun table of tastings!

If you are coming out of our old driveway, turn right on Griffith Road, then turn right into the very next office/warehouse park - Fordham Park. Drive around to the front of the building (as you come down the driveway, you will be looking at the loading docks), and we are right in the middle of the complex.
Everything except the street number is exactly the same!
