March 6-7, 2010
Charlotte, NC!
We are full steam ahead working on the 2010 Winter Retreat!!! This is an event not to be missed! A fabulous weekend of knitting and fiber arts fun with Baskets of Yarn! Join us as we will escape into our own world of fiber fun for a winter weekend at our warehouse and teaching studios in Charlotte, NC!
Registration fee includes: Four 3-hour classes, materials for each class (except needles), lunch both Saturday and Sunday, dinner on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday and a special gift package including our retreat t-shirt and a knitting basket!
In addition to fabulous fun and classes, you will also have full access to our complete retail shop with great sale prices for all retreat participants!

Each participant will have a true fiber arts experience this year as you take your choice of 4 different classes with various instructors! Class choices are listed below. you will take 4 of these classes. (Scroll to the bottom of the page to select your classes.)

Basket Weaving
The Wicked Sweater That Fits (This class is a fit, gauge, substituting yarns class. You will receive a pattern and other tools for helping you determine fit and gauge. This class does not include yarn, but you will be prepared to make the sweater fit you perfectly when the class is done!)

Saturday, March 6
9:00a-9:30a - Check-In (advance check-in will also be available on Thursday and Friday from 10a-4p)
9:30a-12:30p – Class 1
12:30p-2:30p – Lunch, knitting, shopping and visiting
2:30p-5:30p – Class 2
5:30p-6:30p – Knitting, shopping and visiting
6:30p-9:30p – Dinner including a fashion show of previous years projects!
Sunday, March 7
8:30a-9:30a - Breakfast
9:30a-12:30p – Class 3
12:30p-2:30p – Lunch, knitting, shopping and visiting
2:30p-5:30p – Class 4
5:30p-7:30p - Knitting, shopping and visiting before heading home
If you are thinking about joining us, but you live far away...book a flight into Charlotte, NC for the weekend and we will arrange to pick you up at the airport!
In addition to the regular scheduled activities, we will also have dutch-treat dinner gatherings on Friday and Sunday evenings for our out-of-town friends and our locals who want to hang out too!

(Events begin Saturday at 9am and end at 5:30pm on Sunday)
The registration fee is $295 and includes your meals, classes, yarn, and special goodies!

Cancellation Policy: At any time until January 15, 2010 you may cancel your reservation and receive all except $50 back. After January 15, 2010, your registration fee will not be refunded, but we will send you a retreat package including all materials you would be receiving for the classes you have registered for, as well as a $50 shopping credit at Baskets of Yarn.
