You are invited to the 4th Annual
Baskets of Yarn Winter Retreat
March 5-9, 2009
at the Broyhill Inn, Boone, NC
We have just returned from the fabulous 2008 Winter Retreat and we are already working on the 2009 Winter Retreat!!! This is an event not to be missed! Four (or five) days of knit, crochet, and fiber art fun with Baskets of Yarn! Join us as we will escape into our own world of fiber fun for a long weekend!
AGAIN in 2009...The 4th night will be a night of pampering and relaxation! Classes will conclude Sunday at noon, but you will be able to stay one additional night and enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant in Boone, you will be treated to a massage in the afternoon, a relaxing dinner in the evening, time to relax and work on porjects started during the retreat and enjoy visiting with your new fiber friends! After breakfast on Monday you can enjoy one last morning of breakfast and knitting at the Broyhill and then make your way back down the mountain. And...you never know what surprises we will have in store for everyone who stays the extra night. In 2008 it was a special late night sale...hmmm...what will Betsey think of for 2009?!?!
Registration fee includes: Overnight accommodations at the Broyhill Inn, classes of your choice, materials for each class (yarn, patterns and instructions), all meals, yoga, massage and a special gift package!
In addition to fabulous fun and classes, we will also have a "mini-store" on-site with great sale prices for all retreat participants!

All class reservations will be made on a first come first paid basis, so register early!!!
Classes for the 2009 Winter Retreat will be announced later this year! See the schedule below for the 2008 schedule...
If you are thinking about joining us, but you live far away...book a flight into Charlotte, NC on Thursday morning by 11am and out again on Sunday or Monday after 3pm and we will help you find a ride with a local knitter heading up the mountain. This is a great way to get to know some of the other participants for the weekend!
Also, if you would like to come and room with someone to save a little money and make a new friend, but not sure who that someone is, let us know and we will match you up with someone for the weekend. Just let us know when you register!
We will be opening up registration to past participants April 1, 2008 and space available to new participants May 1, 2008.

The registration fee for the retreat is ALL INCLUSIVE! Your meals, accommodations, classes, yarn, yoga for knitters, chair massages, and special goodies are all included in the price.
To reserve your space at the 2009 retreat you may make your $100 deposit at any time after April 1 for returning participants and after May 1 for new participants. Class registration information will be sent to all registrants October 1, 2008. Classes spaces will be filled based on the date your retreat registration is received! So, first paid, first choice at classes!
50% Payment Deadline: September 15, 2008. 50% of the total retreat registration fee is due by September 15, 2008.
Final Payment Deadline: January 15, 2009. The balance of your retreat registration fee is due by January 15, 2009.
After January 15, 2008, new registrants will be required to pay the full registration amount at the time of registration.
Cancellation Policy: At any time until January 15, 2009 you may cancel your reservation and receive all except $100 back. After January 15, 2008, your registration fee will not be refunded, but we will send you a retreat package including all materials you would be receiving for the classes you have registered for, as well as a $100 shopping credit at Baskets of Yarn.
